Get back into banking with Spokane Neighborhood Action Programs' (SNAP) Neighborhood Assets!
Neighborhood Assets is a program for those who otherwise are ineligible for a bank account. Participants in the program:
- Attend a financial skills workshop.
- Open a savings account with one of SNAP's partnering credit unions and make a monthly deposit of at least $5.
- Attend individual financial planning sessions and develop a budget with a financial case manager.
In one year or less, participants can return to full banking priviliges with a checking and/or savings account!
